Our mission is to improve and promote the education, health, and well-being of children and families. Our focus and aim are children and families in Ogun State, Nigeria.
PLP offers a variety of programs and services to support children and families. Our programs include cervical and breast cancer awareness and screening, parenting classes, tuition scholarships, talent day for children with special needs, wellness and capacity building for adolescent girls, and empowerment program for adolescent boys.
Over the past year, we partnered with the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (Sagamu, Ogun State), the Cervical Cancer Free Nigeria (CCNF) campaign, and other benefactors to provide free cervical cancer and breast cancer screening to over 400 women in Ogun State.
A partnership with the Ogun State Chapter of Medical Women Associ
Over the past year, we partnered with the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (Sagamu, Ogun State), the Cervical Cancer Free Nigeria (CCNF) campaign, and other benefactors to provide free cervical cancer and breast cancer screening to over 400 women in Ogun State.
A partnership with the Ogun State Chapter of Medical Women Association of Nigeria (MWAN) celebrated 2025 Boy Child Day in a program designed to nurture the potential and foster the resilience and wellbeing of adolescent boys.
Girls classes focus on menstrual health and provide hygiene kits ($2) for participants. Girls from the most recent class will begin learning how to sew and make reusable period products.
Since 2022/23 school year, PLP has provided full tuition scholarships for ten children to attend primary (5) and secondary (5) school. At the 2025 exchange rate, an average of $200 covers the full years tuition for one child.
The parenting class series (6 sessions), provided in English and Yoruba, included topics such as positive parenting, money and finance, health living and maintaining safety. Over 75 parents participated, each receiving a first aid kit ($3) after the course.

Per person costs: $200 Scholarship, $3 first aid kit, $2 menstrual hygiene, $14 Cervical and breast cancer screening.
